I had the pleasure of shooting a promo video for the talented James O' Connor and the Friendly Strangers recently. They were in the Golden Egg Studio to record their new single and I got to catch them during the recording process. I don't want to give anything away about the single but I must say I really did like it, and it came home with me in my head for a few days after. James, and the Friendly Strangers (Niall Harney on Bass and Matt Cross on Drums with Brian O'Mahony Producing the track and also playing guitar) were great to work with, and true professionals in the studio. Here's a few pics from the session which I hope gives you a sense of the atmosphere.
Can't wait to hear the finished production when it's released in the near future and I hope to share the video here when it's finished too. Just want to thank James, Niall and Matt for having me along, and also to the Brian, Ollie and Owen at Golden Egg Studios for their hospitality.
